Why KAPCOM Exists
KAPCOM began with founder, CEO, and President Elaine Kapetanakis. While leading her first business, Kapstone Technologies, Elaine experienced inadequate IT support and saw how recurring problems could distract a growing company from its real work.
She envisioned a different relationship: engineers who learn how each client operates, explain technology clearly, and look beyond the immediate fix to address underlying causes. That vision shaped KAPCOM into a technology company that combines substantial technical expertise with the familiarity of a local small business.
Based in Chantilly, Virginia, we support small businesses, nonprofits, and government contractors across Northern Virginia, Washington, DC, and Maryland. Our team handles day-to-day technology needs and complex networking projects while helping clients build more stable, scalable IT environments.
In 2024, KAPCOM Services and Kapstone Technologies were recognized as the GTSC Small Business Member of the Year. The recognition reflects the business-minded, customer-centered approach that continues to guide our work.
